Text Box: APRIL Text Box: JULY Text Box: OCTOBER Text Box:   The Shoehorn Sonata is an uplifting and moving tale of courage and comradeship between two women - who forged a bond of friendship whilst in a prisoner of war camp in 1942. Drawn together fifty years later ,the women are forced to confront the past. Through poignant and painful memories, laughter and tears, they rekindle their friendship and embark upon a fascinating story which is testament to the human spirit. Candy Burgess will direct this brilliant play, winner of the  NSW Premiers Literary Award and the Australia Remembers National Play competition in 1995   Text Box: In this much-loved comedic farce by John Patrick, a former TV star attempts to retire alone to write her autobiography. To thwart the prying eyes of the locals, she draws on her acting skills to invent a homicidally insane sister who escapes from her upstairs room just  long enough to scare away the locals. It all seems to work, until the imaginary sibling attracts the attentions not only of the local ladies who wish to save her demented soul, but also of the    village handyman, who has love on his mind. How does our heroine untangle the mess ? The answer  leads to suspicions of murder, and some very serious laughs!
