Victorian Music Hall
For your delight and edification!
Welcome to the Bay Theatre Players program for 2011.  We’re excited!

In a season from March to December, we offer four major productions featuring the talents of our Members aged from 6 to 70+.  They’ll sing up a storm, dance til they drop, then shock you with spine chilling drama.
Our youth production will ‘rock your socks’, and we end the year with a Victorian Music Hall of death defying entertainment.

If you’re already a friend of the BTP - welcome back to your community theatre for another year of great entertainment.    New to our venue ?
Browse the website, and check our
regular Curtain Up column in the Bay Post.

As President I’m involved in the whole 2011 season, and I look forward to meeting as many
of our audience as possible !
Regards
Jack Helmore
We begin the year with Dinkum Assorted, a zany comedy with a touch of drama, dance and music. In Warrabadanga, 2000 American airmen have been stationed two miles from town. Fifteen women who work in the Dinkum Assorted biscuit factory show how they cope with life, death, romance, betrayal and an escaped goat!
Our second production, The Woman in Black, concerns a menacing spectre  that haunts a small English town. The story centres on a young solicitor , Arthur Kipps, who is summoned to a small market town on the east coast of England to attend to the funeral of Mrs Alice Drablow, an elderly and reclusive widow who lived alone in the desolate and secluded Eel Marsh House.
Honk! Junior is a contemporary retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's classic story, "The Ugly Duckling" and features a Joseph... Dreamcoat-like score that kids of every age will enjoy.
Honk!, one of the most- performed musicals ever written will provide a wonderful platform to show off the talents of our younger members.
All of the delicious delectable delights of the classic Music hall,
presented by our own stars of the stage.
And, we have also already decided on the first two plays for 2012.
